Anyone else seen the Feb Issue of Octane Magazine yet? It features a 1969 Series 2 E type FHC, they reckon it's worth 30K. This must be because of the Registration Number....
75 RBH
as also featured in The Motor Apr 26 1961, and Autocar 3 March 1961 when it was on the works Warwick. Imagine the furore if I had "OKV 1" on my Warwick.
So has a certain bastardizer of our mark decided to put it on "another car"
a car that has no distinction or use for this reg?
A shame or a sham?
I personally thought it a shame when it was removed from "a" Warwick and held to ransom, now it seems that the opportunity will be lost..Or perhaps the new owner of the E type may be more approachable...but it all comes down to money not history.....like the Greeks/Egyptians/Africans/south Americans have been telling the British museum for years.
Yes, I'm sure that he "owns" the registration in the DVLA sense.
I thought that it is very sad that it was featured in the magazine without any comment or acknowledgement, especially when it so obviously isn't appropriate to the vehicle it's on.
Well the mag probablly isnt to know that it "has history" and it depends on whether the person selling the e type is the person who "held back" the reg in the first place.
