Many thanks to Frank for being madder than a glovebox of horseflies and agreeing to lend me his Peerless for the Beaujolais Run 2006. I think it's a most generous offer.
His Peerless will enjoy a lap of Goodwood on the 14th November, led by Lord March, before being flagged off by Damon Hill for the journey down to Eurotunnel and on to France for the three day navigational 'race' to Macon. Spectators are welcome I believe for the Goodwood send-off.
www.beaujolaisrun.com will have all the details once it goes live.
In the meantime, please dig deep for Great Ormond Street Children's Charity and the Down's Syndrome Association. All the funds I raise will be split 50/50 between both charities. My employess, Future Publishing will double the funds I raise up to a maximum of £2000, which is very decent I think.
It's for a two great causes. Three if you include Frank's Peerless and Peerless in general. I'm looking forward to seeing a Peerless line-up with Lambos, Maseratis, Ferraris – you know that obvious stuff.
