The Historic Specials Day 2006

Date: August 5th and 6th 

The event attracts around sixty cars each year mainly Ford Ten and Austin Seven based specials of the types viewed on this site.

Specials and limited production sports cars of all makes are invited, although cars built or designed after 1964 may be asked to park outside the display area. Some of the marques that have been to previous shows and not presently featured on this site include:

TWM, Turner, Fairthorpe, Elva, Lotus, Ginetta, Lola, Martin, Siva, Dellow and many many more.

The event is held at The Cotswold Wildlife Park, Burford, Oxon, England on the 1st Sunday in August. Admission is FREE for the driver of a special or the tow car of a special (we don't mind if it is on a trailer, we want to see your car what ever its condition) and the park opens at 10.30.

Those of you who would like to make a weekend of it. We have a road run on Saturday afternoon and a meal in the evening at a local hotel. You can either book a room at the hotel or use a local campsite. Quite a few of us use the Bridge House campsite, Bridge House, Letchlade, Glos, Tel 01367 252348. Its on the A361 0.25 miles south of Letchlade.
