Hi Steve,

Yes It's me, not that you'd notice as I've lived on a boat for 8 years with no real internet connection and rather stupidly just moved to a village that time forgot, no internet, no mobile phone and in most rooms no radio ! However, I have something lashed up that gives me 56k internet some of the time so I'm doing my best.

Did you have a specific question or were you just generally appalled by my lack of effort !

It would be most appreciated!!!!

Thanks,

Dean

John,

Sorry I missed your post; I guess I wasn't paying attention.  I inquired only because I was having trouble posting pictures for other members to see, and thought you might be able to help.  I'm not very experienced with this forum, and doubt I could post the pics again right now.

Quite a rugged life you have going right now.  Enjoy it!

Apologies for the spamming above, I was just having a gander an it seems a few people wanted to know how to post pictures.

I think this will work, use the Insert/edit image icon on the text screen (Second row, 4th from the right) and past in the URL of a photo. If you don't have the URL of a photo that is already on the web, right-click and and select 'Copy image URL'. If you haven't uploaded the image to the web yet use something like http://www.postimage.org/ to upload, then obtain the URL.

Adam.

P.s. Lets hope this picture shows up...wp62195f49_0f.jpg

I've uploaded an image to www.postimage.org so I'm going to try a few of the links below.

So after uploading I copied the link from the 'Direct Link' box. Then I came to the forum, and in the reply editor I clicked on 'Insert/edit image' (the little tree icon). Then I pasted the link into the 'Image URL' box and this should be below...

After uploading the image I copied the link titled 'Thumbnails for Forums (1)' and pasted this straight into the text area. This shows a small image and takes you through to a larger one when clicked...
