Every year Club Triumph Holland (CTH) organises the Dutch National Triumph Dayon the first Sunday in August. This year at a new and very pleasant location, the Estate of Heerlijkheid Mariënwaerdt in Beesd (The Netherlands, about 50 miles from Rotterdam). Mariënwaerdt is a private estate, central situated in the fruit county of the Betuwe, near the river the Linge, easely reachable from motorway A2, exit 14 Beesd.Last year over 300 classic cars visited the event and the numbers are growing each year Not only Triumph or Standard Cars are welcome, every car build with Triumph technique finds its way on the premises. With the presence of the other Dutch clubs of our make, TR Club Holland, Triumph Spitfire Club en Stag Club Nederland, it will be a enjoyable day.
DNTD 2009 starts at 10.00 in the morning and lasts till 17.00 in the afternoon.
More than a meetingpoint Not only for men....
Specials and Heralds During this DNTD edition there will be special interest for so called Specials; cars built with Triumph technique like Bond, Spartan, Hathaway Hunter, very rare HB Special, Swallow Doretti, Italia, Locust, Amphicar and Peerless. And because it is fifty years ago the Triumph Herald was introduced, these cars will be given a special treat on this event.
We have found most so called derivates but it's very hard to finf a Peerless and Warwick. So, if you're interested in a shortbreak to Holland to show your Peerless of Warwick, please contact us! We can offer you a one night stay in an lovely B&B nearby. Many thanks,
There will be a lot to do at DNTD. We arrange a lovely tour in the nearby Betuwe and there will be several traders with spares and lifestyle, but also modelcars, brochures, books etc. And there will be live music as well. The Estate Mariënwaerdt is a fine venue for walks and sightseeing. You will agree, not only the men will have a lovely day.
Sorry just seen this post! Would've loved to have helped but far too busy. Presumably you want a Peerless or Warwick to attend not to buy for it!? I know Erics' Peerless isn't on the road yet, but I will e-mail Wolfgang who isn't far from the Belgian border to see if he is interested. Sounds like a super event and good luck with it.
