Sorry about the anonymous bit, unintentional. Yes I will pursue the resurrection of #40. It's actually not too bad although someone recently remarked on the plexiglass windscreen! I'd like to trace it's history. Is any of the original factory dispatch info available . ie. which dealer got what serial number?

I do have one owner that emigrated to Canada with his peerless and then returned...with his Peerless and He did say something about other ones out there, he said quite abit about the weather as well but.....i will quize him...soon.

I was looking through a Canadian sports car magazine called "Track and Traffic" volume 1#1 , September 1959 and came across a Peerless that participated in races that year owned by a Mr. Morris ( also referred to as Maurice?) Bell. Could this possibly be #40? Incidentally Track and Traffic was a successful magazine for quite a few years.
