Anyone know if the rubber around the front windscreen is replaceable?
I need to remove the front windscreen and I am afraid the rubber will not survive.....Any ideas?

Hi

I have the same problem and will be replacing both front and rear screen rubbers in the summer..

I believe that the screen rubber from an 'old' Mini (not the BMW type) will fit.  You can get theese from woolies.  http://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/

Woolies product No R399-358 fits both front and back screen. 

Don't try to use a mini screen rubber, the outer edge that fits on to the car (not the glass) has to have a wider gap because GRP is thicker than mini metal.

Woolies Universal Fiting tool Part No R150 makes fitting the chrome strip afterwards a doddle.
