PeerlessWanted For High Profile Event

Is there anyone good enough (and crazy enough I hear you think) to lend me a Peerless for a top notch charity run? The car will also be featured in a main magazine feature.

The (lucky?) car will need to be roadworthy as it will be covering 1000 miles or so.
I have the option of other cars but it would be rude not to try and make it a Peerless.

If you think you can trust me enough to bring it back in one piece please get in touch ASAP.

Ahh go on...

Well Gary I think the problem is (and you will find out when you finally restore one of these cars) you maybe reluctant to wave your car bye bye

Is there any provision for the owner to come and share the driving

I totally agree Nigel.
Before I asked the question, I found myself asking the same of myself - would/could I let someone borrow my Spit (having spent years restoring her). I came to the conclusion that it would depend on the person asking and whether they were sympathetic to the car etc.

In the kind of spirit I've come to know and respect amongst my Peer Group, I have been offered a Peerless and I'm currently in the throes of the organisational details of the event. Once I can confirm the details to the gent offering me the car I'll go public with his permission.

The idea is to raise a minimum of £2000 for charity. Entry is £500 per team of two.
I have to take a snapper to capture the whole event (and Peerless story).

The event is evolving into something quite special and I'm so keen to put a Peerless among the Lambos, Ferraris, Maseratis, Aston et al.

Sounds like you might be offering if you could come along? No bowler hats though...
