Started watching this series on Quest as the subject obviously appealed. I don't know if the first 7 seasons were on different subjects but season 8 is where I started. Episode 1, Jensen Interceptor. A must watch for me as I've always loved them but, needless to say, well out my price range.
Anyway, a car was sourced and restoration commenced on what was believed to be a press car but with a different registration. Further digging provided proof of that and the original reg no was obtained. With that, previous owners were discovered and, lo and behold, one Peter Jopp was a prior owner. Yes, the very same Peter Jopp that drove the Peerless at Le Mans.
What started as an interesting subject became even more so particularly as period photos of Jopp (sadly not in a Peerless and no mention of Le Mans) were featured.
If you get the chance, it's well worth a watch even if it's just to see how much they lost on the project.
