Hi everyone, the racing season is upon us , and after doing a track day at Goodwood last Saturday, where bits of us froze and nearly broke off ( thank goodness we still have a heater in the Peerless ,) as witnessed and endured by Jonathan, who kindly came and supported us, here are the dates for this season ( provided the little car can cope with it .)
March 25th Castle Combe Classic and Historic pre'66 race. April 17th Castle Combe Oldies but Goldies 2 driver race. April 30th or May 1st Donington Park as above. .
May 21st Mallory Park Classic and Historic
May 27th Brands Hatch C and H
June 10th or 11th Lydden Hill C and H
JULY 8th and 9th LE MANS CLASSIC !!
August 19th or 20 th Pembrey C and H
October 8th Mallory Park Oldies but Goldies
October 21st or 22nd Donington Park C and H.
There are some Classic Sports Car Club meetings in between which we may do, and of course we are hoping and praying to be asked to the Goodwood Revival meeting Sept. 1st--3rd . Thanks everyone, look forward to seeing you all, my race at Castle Combe this Sat. is not until 17.30ish ! So hope for decent weather ! The one on the 17th April will be more interesting, better chance as pre 60s cars competing, and a super array of other very interesting Historic cars out! Happy racing C. X
