I note with interest the Fuzz Townshend has joined Classics Monthly as Tech Editor. IIRC, he was looking for a Peerless recently in the pages of Practical Classics. Does this mean even more publicity for the marque or part shares in Garrys car?
I thought, however, he was leaving Practical Classics to start his own resto business or was this just a cunning ploy to get closer to a Peerless?
Yep, we've err... caught the Fuzz, so to speak. Makes a change to being caught by them...
He's a top gent and has a highly eclectic mix of classics (ten!) to play with. He was once a bus driver in Birmingham, I think maybe some of you have been told off by him for smoking on the way home from school.
Apparently the Peerless wanted ad was a stitch up by another staffer. He has his hands in his Midlands based resto business (with very competitive hourly rates, so I hear) but CM will be his day job, come April.
We'll be able compare SP250 plastic fantastic and the Peerless. Happy days.
