Yes Joe I may have one for you. I recieved 2 spares with my recent peerless purchase....just haven't had the time to see what shape their in. I will look them over and get back to you. I live in Connecticut so I not sure what the shipping would be. By the way thanks for the help on the exhaust. Cheers Russell
Joe, Finally checked out the spare and it's not in the best of shape. A few spokes are broken and overall the wheel is in need of a good blast of sand and a refinish. BUT I do have it if you want it. I will check on the shipping...just let me know. Russell
hi Joe, I'm runnin a standard steel as a spare, a bit like a space saver as my wheels are 5.5j and a bit big to go in the boot. i work on the fact that if I have to change the wheel I just take the spline off as well and bolt the steel on. It's a cheap alternative. If you can hang on till the international then you'll be bound to find a spare wire or two. International 20-22 July get your beer tokens ready.
Joe e mailed me to ask are the studs long enough to fit a steel wheel. It is said you have to cut them down for wire wheels. Well you do a bit, if you put a piece of playdoh on the flange of the spline hub and fit the wheel then remove you can see that a best you have only to remove 4-5mm. i have actually cut mine at an angle so there's even more thread, and i have fitted TR6 studs as the old TR2-3 studs have a nasty habit of coming out!
