Peerless phase 1, Denver Colorado

I'm an Englishman living here in Denver Colorado, a friend at work is selling a 1959 peerless phase 1 - he has most of the parts but it needs a windscreen,

The body work is pretty dismal, would you recommend it as a project for a Mechanic with a little bodywork experience or not,

Ant info would be helpfull - Thanks, Steve.

The good news is that Ian and Celia are now producing new panels so it is much easier to restore cars. Have a look at this site , especially in the restoration part, Frank Wright has a lots of hints on restoration.

Everything you need id on the web site, key to GRP restoration is be brave! If you get a bit stuck a local boat repairer can always help.

Go for it, owning a Peerless is not a decision you will regret....well only very occasionally.

Dear Stephen, I agree with Jonathan go ahead and have a stab at restoring the Peerless, they are super cars and you will get all the help you want from us--just ask.  keep in touch and all the best.

My dad and I owned one and sold it to a mailman that lived near Bailey, Colorado.  It had a broken windshield.  I believe it was #103.  Might this be the same car?
