unknown cars

Mike sent me some photos of a car he saw in Thirsk, does anyone know anything about it. It was some time ago, I did wonder if it was Mike RF's car??

Not mine, Nigel. If anything, mine was in a worse state body wise with major damage to n/s front and o/s rear but did have the advantage of having all it's glass. Mine also had steel wheels as original. It was me that changed to spokes.

I've still got the original buff log book and can trace its history around the UK. It had been in the Perth area for some time before being taken off the road because of the damage.

As it's sitting beside a Mk 1 Capri, I would guess that photo being mid/late '70s onward.

603EPP came off the road in 1968, before the Capri was launched. (I think)

yes I do remember seeing an image of yours looking very sad for itself and I think, not even on its wheels?

As Mike took these, and hes such a youngster, I suspect they were taken in the 90's?

I have some more photos like these, mainly from Alan House, previous registrar and I'll get round to scanning them and posting to see if they ring any GRP bells.....
