Yes, it is my old car, and I've been watching the sale with interest.

I rebuilt it from a wreck 2000-2003 and then had five happy years with it, including three trips to Me Mans.  I lent it to Gary S for the Beaujolais run, and it didn't break.  in fact, during my ownership, it always got me home.

I sold it for too little to Richard C, who claimed it was "the car of his dreams".  Since then it seems to have had loads of money spent on it, and lost many of the original features that I worked so hard to keep.  The Speedo also shows that it hasn't been anywhere much lately, which is really sad because these cars are all about driving.

It would be great to meet the next owner at one of the P&W gatherings, but I expect that's unlikely.

Possibly suffering from being a r/h drive car in a l/h drive world?

I think there's more too it than that Mike.

I rebuilt this at home, in a single garage, before replacement chassis and bodies were available.

Sure, someones spent lots, now it's shiny, well upholstered, and goes a bit quick.

You make up the punchline......
