Nice period Glass Reinforced Plastics book with Peerless content.

For the ones of you who don't know this book.

Must have bought this some 15 years ago but completely forgot about it until I found it in the attic a while ago.

First edition from 1954 to third edition from 1961.

It contains all the information you'd want to know about GRP.

In the Automotive Bodywork chapter there is a picture of the Phase 1 mould and an illustration of the separate mouldings.

No mentioning of Peerless in the text though.

These books are regularly offered cheaply on Ebay, maybe nice to have?

I've seen/got very poor copies of those images so if you could send me over high res for the archive that would be great Erik. Also, I will see if I can pick up a copy.

Just a thought, what print date is your copy? I'm just thinking what images (if any) they had in 54/55/57 before Peerless production photos were available in 58??

Aahhh, that is clever thinking!

Never thought of that myself, but that's why you are the registrar and I am not.

I have the 1961 third edition, same year as my Ph2.

So indeed P&W owners should look for the 3rd edition.

Just bought the 1970 edition. No Peerless photo; references and pictures refer to Reliant. So dont purchase that years copy.
