The Hunt Continues

Hello all, haven't posted in a while so I thought it was maybe a good time to refresh my wanted post. Despite getting several leads on cars for sale nothing has panned out as of yet for a variety of reasons so I'm still searching for a Peerless project, as stated in previous posts I would also consider a Warwick, also ( I know it may be sacrilege on this site ) would also be interested in other similar cars of the era, Bristols, Jensen CV8, AC greyhound, etc... I would be most grateful for any info even on a remote lead, especially for a Peerless. Thanks as always

Hello Peter,
Yes, I've seen both of those, the yellow car is to nice and therefore to costly for me as well as not in the colors/spec that I would want, Atle's old car is very much what I'm looking for ( although I would prefer LHD, not a deal breaker though ) and I believe its priced about right, but the cost of the car plus the shipping quotes that I'm getting too get it to the southwestern US makes it unfeasible. If anyone has any recommendations on a more reasonably cost effective shipping I would love to hear from you.
Thanks for your response though

Wayland

There are a couple Jensen CV8's for sale on the "Jensen Owner' forum" under "cars for Sale" but these cars are so rare and sought after you better bring a tick wallet to the table.

Thanks for the tip, but I couldn't find any actually currently for sale and I still face the same issues with getting them from there to here unless someone responds with a better option for shipping. Thanks again

Wayland

Besides I would still actually prefer a Peerless

Looks like to took off the older ads like they do every so often.  There a new ad that popped up over the weekend for a CV8 but as usual located in England and listed at 50,000 pounds.

You might get lucky because they produced more of them than Peerless GT's (around 500 instead of around 325).  Only 7 were left hand though.
