For that kind of money, I'd expect the car to be perfect and this one has a few annoying issues. The wing repeaters are hideous, the indicator switch appears to have been moved from the steering wheel to the dashboard and the boot handle is incorrect for a P1 car. The headlights are a separate issue and, to me, look like an attempt to get over not having the correct P1 surrounds.
Having said all that, the car looks to be in excellent order and is a very worthwhile example. I just think that at the high end of the estimate everything needs to be spot on.
Thats strong money for a Ph1/2 hybrid. Might be another JA Pearce rebody/update? The SAH detail bodes well. Be very interesting to see the hammer price.

Rust Never Sleeps - Cavity Wax and Valium Should Do It
this car was for sale in or near Chicago US in early Sept. 2018. It was fairly heavily discussed in one of my "wanted" posts , it looks like the new owner has gotten rid of the TR250 hubcaps ( good decision for sure ) and possibly recovered or at least re-dyed the interior. When car was for sale previously bidding only reached somewhere in the 18-19 thousand US dollars range and did not meet reserve, I thought at the time the bids may have ended a little on the low side but there was a lot of questionable things with this car. The interim owner has certainly put some additional money in it on top of whatever price he paid but I still question the car overall.
PS. I'm still on the hunt for a Peerless, if anyone has one they've decided they don't need anymore or just may never get around to doing or whatever... would prefer a decent project but will consider any.

Google is your friend, Erik. Tuning specialists back in the day. Did a range of performance parts. A bit like Triumph Tune. May well have built engines too for all I know.
