Lost a friend - Colin Ham passed away

If you recall Colin was a neighbor that used his 8mm camera to film his dad, Bernie Rogers and other racing in the early 60's.  I transferred his original 8mm footage in to this you tube footage.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RZR4BHJdETg&feature=youtu.be

We were fortunate to interview Colin with professional sound and audio equipment a few years ago.  I hope to release that footage eventually. He was a wonderful and patient man.

I pulled a screen shot of young Colin from the film for your enjoyment.

Here is a copy of a few pages he wrote to help with understand the context or the films.

We are awaiting for our "quarantine" to lift so we can celebrate his accomplishments with a proper beer.

Dean

Bugger, I only thought of him yesterday as I had been talking to another member and wanted to clarify some of that conversation, just show how times flashes by...even when locked down!

sorry to hear and he couldn't have been that old?

Dean If you could let me have some info I will write it up in my next report.
