Sometime (not too soon) I am considering rehoming my Warwick with my son in Australia.
Leaving aside the transportation and tax issues, which I can understand, there seem to be lots of potential traps in the type approval procedures for classic vehicles with weak documentation. The car is a UK road legal historic vehicle with an original registration and V5, and current MOT, but factory specification or documentation is non existent.
I believe that there is at least one Peerless in Australia, but how did it get there? Is there anyone that can offer advice on how to negotiate the current Australian type approval procedures and ensure that the vehicle keeps it's historic status. Is there a Sydney based TR owners club that can help?
