Clutch question

As can probably be gathered, I'm getting on a bit with my resto so have lots of stupid questions coming up.

As I'm at the point of getting the engine and box back in, I thought I'd do a bit of clutch work. The one thing that's puzzling me is where does the tie wire that secures the tapered bolt that fixes the clutch release fork to the cross shaft tie to? Does it tie round the cross shaft or one of the arms of the release fork? I can't see anywhere else that could be used to tie the wire to and stop the tapered bolt from unscrewing itself.

For information the tie wire is part number EAW4321.
