WANTED: Steering column and steering box

Hello,

does anyone have a spare steering original column and box in their spares stash?

Thanks, Gary.

Wow! That's a big ask. Took me ages to get a stator tube never mind an entire column and box.

Best of luck, though.

Mike

Hello Mike,

Don't ask, don't get.

Gary

I have one that is Left Hand drive from a Warwick with adjustable steering. It is here in the States. I assume you are in the UK.

Isn't the box the same as a TR3? The shaft length might be different.

Hello Dean,

Good to hear from you. I hope you are well and your car is progressing.

Many thanks for your kind offer. Yes, my customer's car is in the UK. I'll let you know ASAP.

All the best,

Gary

Don't know about the whole set that Gary needs, but for a stator tube (see Mike above), go to Macys Garage (macysgarage.com) where they sell new ones. Just cut down to fit for the Peerless.

Thanks Dave but I actually got a second hand one (too long, obviously). I believe, however, that Revington TR here in the UK have re-manufactured them.

Hi Gary, Do you still need a steering gearbox? I have a TR3A lower shaft and box if that helps. I am in the southwest and it's free if you pay shipping. It is a left side drive but I have looked at my right drive TR3A and it looks identical and they both look like the one in my Peerless GT chassis.  Mike O'Donnell
