2018 events

Avids.

We have two meetings so far book this year in the UK.

The first is the 19th/20th May 2018

New Spring Bash 2018

The NSB 2018 could be just what we need to kick start the year. We are going to attend the Chiltern Hills Rally on Sunday 20th May. This is a quote from their website " Apart from circa 1000 vehicles on show there are a variety of entertainments etc to make the day enjoyable for visitors and entrants alike these include:
Children's Rides and Slides, A Fun Dog Show - Bring your pet along - entries on the day.
50 or so Trade Stands, Auto Jumble, A Beer Tent, Specialist Teas and Coffees, A Pig Roast, Burgers, Ice Creams etc" sounds more like the inside of Peerless Towers at the IWE!

D & H have secured rooms for the Saturday night (19th May) at De Vere Horwood Estate, Little Horwood, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, MK17 0PH.

I have also asked if we can have the option to stay over on the Sunday evening as some of our flock travel a fare distance and may not want to attempt a long journey back after attending the show all day (and I suspect you won't be able to leave the site until 4-5pm). The present Mrs Cluley and I have booked the Sunday as well to give us more time to catch FJ at the bar.

 NSB 2018 details:

Saturday 19th Single occupancy dinner, bed and breakfast £102

Saturday 19th Double occupancy dinner, bed and breakfast £152

Please book directly with the hotel on 01296 752 339 and mentioning Peerless and Warwick Group.  Please let me know you have booked too.

For those watching the pennies this is more expensive than our usual gig but I'm sure you will enjoy a different type of weekend away and my thanks go to Duncan & Helen for organising. You can check out the show with this link http://www.chilternhillsrally.org.uk/ and D&H have also put forward ideas for the Saturday that are close to hand. There's Bletchley Park, home of the code breakers. Buckinghamshire Steam Railway Centre near Quainton, ( although don't get your boilers all fired up as its their Diesel weekend) MK museum in Milton Keynes and there's National Trust places like Stowe and Claydon House.

TR Register International Weekend 2018. 29th -1 July

The second gig  is the TR Register's International Weekend at Lincoln Show Ground on the 29th June to the 1st July 2018.

There should be all the usual suspects in attendance and i do a BBQ on the Saturday night.
