I'm should stop hijacking other people's threads, so here's one of my own.
Today the long-running Warwick #15 project achieved a bit of a milestone when it came back from the paintshop. Those familiar with the car will notice that it's not primrose any more.
Apologies to Celia and Ian, who were going to paint it for me, but the local shop offered me a good deal, and I'm really happy with the result.
Yes, this is the same Warwick that was lurking in a container in Wrexham back in 2000, partly stripped, no engine or gearbox.
Work so far has involved a complete rebuild of the rusty and twisted chassis refurb of all the suspension and installation of a rebuilt fast road 2.2 engine. The body, amazingly wasn't too bad, because it had been in storage so long. No, I didn't want wires, been there, life's too short.
The car won't be at Malvern this weekend, but I will.
