I would guess it's been a very long time since two Peerless came up at the same Auction?

But surely the first car should be considered more Gordon Keeble than Peerless if it's on a GK chassis?

I wonder if it's estimate of 10-12k is based more on it's GK heritage than it's Peerless

Would be nice to see the value going up, though

I notice the catalogue makes mention of a third Peerless. This time a Peerless/Austin Healey special with Peerless derived body.

no, I think its a Healey 3000 chassis with a 4 ltr straight 6 (rolls Royce engine) and a bastardized Jensen 541 body.....using a Peerless log book knowing the vendor

You seem to know something about this Nigel.

Do tell!!

Are the two cars and log book from the one estate or similar??

Still don't understand why the first car has a Peerless chassis number but is on a GK chassis?? Must be something slightly off, there surely??

bit of a Frankenstein me thinks. Its all based around log books I would guess. I f you have a log book for a Peerless and not a GK then what you gona do?

I suspect the track is wider on the GK so the Peerless has been stretched on the front wheel arches which doesn't do anything for the looks. The rear can always gain a few pounds (oooer) but not the front.

And an attractive tunnel cover to boot....................

and as for the Peerli/Jensen 541/West Healey/minster.....

I think we will all watch with interest.
