Fuel tank selector Switch

Hi Guys,

My name is Jeff and I am new to these forums.

I am the owner of 2 Peerless's in Australia Gt20084 Gt20099.

Currently I am in the process of rebuilding Gt20099 which I recently acquired from Perth WA.

I need help in locating a fuel tank switch selector as it seems to be missing and I cannot find where to purchase one.

If someone could point me in the direction of where to buy one or know the part number it would be a great help.

Look forward to been part of this great community.

Regards,

Jeff

Peerless folklore says that these switches came from
a Landrover, but (as far as I know) early Landrovers have a
changeover fuel Tap fitting, which isn't electrical.

Early Jags do have a similar fitting, see:
www.holden.co.uk
Code=31429
Expensive!

Cheaper multi pole, multi way rotary switches are common electronic
items, but will not take fuel pump current for long.

On my Warwick, I have a 6 gallon single tank, and have used the dash
hole for Hazard Flashers.  (England is only a small country and you
don't need 16 gallons to get to the next petrol station.)
