I had assumed that it did not self-cancel, only to discover that feature when i replaced the head unit with a new one. The car had broken bakelite and a damaged loom by hte steering box, and the box of old spares that came with it had a second head in pieces. the two together were not enough to make one good-looking and working unit, hence the replacement.
I was reading the latest Classics Monthly and saw you working on the head unit. Good luck.. BTW - i like the mag in digital form. you can really zoom in on the pictures, which helps for those of us with failing eyes
when Frank Wright very kindly lent me his Ph2 to participate in the Beaujolais Run I had to make a conscious effort to turn off the indicators or receive a one fingered salute from irate French motorists. Knowing they do self-cancel means reaching for a default aftermarket set-up isn't as necessary as some might first believe. Myself included.
Glad you're enjoying our za za zoom factor with the digital issues. Lots of good Peerless relevant stuff in the pipeline.
All the best, Gary
