Sorry this is a few days late but what's that after 50 years...
Sample now with me and I reckon it looks superb. The material is unpolished and minus the back and white backgrounds, being a sample, so this is all about the size, shape and quality of the wording and details.
As pointed out by Nigel, the thin gold line between the black and white backgrounds is not on this (because my original badge was had nothing but gold lettering paint). However, it shouldn't be a problem.
I fitted it to a standard 2" inch chrome rim and it's fine.
The final plastic can be clear as original, with the added benefit of being UV stable, unlike an original badge.
So I now need to know the following to determine costs:
Would you want just the plastic insert unpainted?
Would you wanted the insert painted?
Would you prefer a completely assembed badge with stainless steel backing and securing method (probably stud(s) with nuts)?
I suggest we take advantage of this opportunity and get as many as possible in the first batch. 50 for example is only 25 cars. Buy two, keep your originals off the car and away from sunlight?
Register your interest ASAP.
All the best, Gary

I had no idea that these even existed nor do I know where they should go but I would like a couple. I presume 1 front, 1 rear. Anyone able to post a pic showing locations?
Mike, the Phase 1 had the badges front and rear. Phase 2 rear only with chrome scripted 'Peerless' up front.
Meant to say that I'll have the sample at the NYB. Group 4 aren't capable of containing Uncle Frank, so I may need extra special security to keep it safe.
Anyone know any ticklers to keep him entertained?
All the best, Gary

Would like a pair also, #198, I have large P in grill but, dont have any emblems, think I am Phase 2 but do not have chrome script. Would anyone 0bject if I put emblems on my Phase 2 car, I put large PEERLESS letters in front number plate area some ads have shown, to let people know what it is. BTW, is there a list of chassis #s with current owners, and perhaps history, I used to race against them when they were new, lots of cars coming out of the woodwork in the USA.
I could be interested in two badges if the price is not to high. I already have four original badges in store so I don't really need new ones, but it could be wise to save them for the future.
