Alloy fuel tanks

I have found a UK company willing to make alloy fuel tanks based on my original Peerless Phase 1 versions. I'll post pics in due course. I've asked they consider the prevention of fuel sloshing back up the filler neck. They will include baffles and cell foam in the construction.

Would you prefer threaded inlet and output pipe holes?

The idea is to produce off-the-shelf fuel tanks. For US owners, they also have a strong presence there, too.

Please let me know of any alterations you would like to see to the original tanks which could be incorporated into their design.

All the best,

Gary

Thanks again Gary, you put me to shamecrying.gif

Just an idea. On my tanks I had the outlet pipes put at either end of the tanks. Off-side at the front, near side at the rear.

The reason? well when I had them built I lived at a house that had a very steep drive and thought I could potently run out of petrol on the drive....as it turns out I run out of petrol everywhere cus I'm tight

As a breather I used Montego diesel filler pipes. These come with an integral breather pipe, very neat and it works.

Just a thought though.

Gary,
Not sure if you saw this post, but I had Steve build a pair for me last year and they look great.  I think he is set up for production and has already shipped a few overseas.
