still, as we said all those years ago, try replacing the front screen, at your own cost, in your Eurobox/BMW/Merc/AUDI/GM/FORD/Trabant.....

Yes, the prices have risen but in reality we're extremely lucky they can be ordered off the shelf, and heated if desired. As Nigel says, the price is comparable with any modern car glass or indeed a Ford Escort. Previous non-availability of glass kept cars from being bought as whole projects and restored and many succumbed to being broken for spares as a result. Pays yer money, get yer glass. And it's laminated, too.

All the best,

Gary

This is what our order looked like in 2015.  There were customs duties that we split as well as shipping.  The spreadsheet helped keep us informed.  If you want to split up another order, I can send this privately.

If an order gets put together please let me know as I will gladly order at least 2 front and 1 rear.
There are others here in the states that need them also, we have a shop that is willing to act as a clearing house so shipping to the states can be done in one container and the cost can be absorbed by all which will result in a much more palatable shipping fee.

Greg & Dave,

I got a guy in Ohio who is restoring the Irish built Peerless V8 prototype who needs at least a rear window.  His name is Paul Guinn. I'll try to get him signed up for the forum so he can follow this thread.  If not I'll keep him informed if you keep posting info.

Thanks, Jim Bolinger

Just a heads up/reminder about ordering Glass from Pilkingtons. If you want to obtain the best price then please get in touch with us here at the club, if you're not a member then you will pay significantly more!
