Peerless Hub thread



Hi

Can anybody supply the specification for the thread on the front hub
from a Peerless GT 2 litre? I can see it is 8 tpi  and 1.826" OD but cannot pin down the full specification.

Hi Brent,
I dont know but its the same as TR3 so you could try a "good" TR supplier/restorer?

They are all best replaced with TR6 studs as the TR3 ones have a tendency to snap!

Could I enquire which car youre working on?biggrin

Has anyone ever identified the thread? It is 8 tpi but it's an odd diameter my very learned engineering friend can't identify with his reference guides.

knowing Peerless motors it was probably a cutting dye used on the Mayflower.....the ship not the car!
