The October issue of Classics Monthly magazine has a five page driving article based on Alan House's Warwick GT prototype. As a fan of the Peerless Phase 1 in particular, I hope the exposure will help to raise the profile of all Peerless/Warwick cars, which I believe have been unfairly neglected by the classic car media. I seized the opportunity to drive Alan's car and have every intention of owning and driving a Peerless Phase 1 round Le Mans in 2008. As a way of helping to raise the P/W profile I welcome any feedback to the article. The issue is on sale August 31st. Gary Stretton, Editor. Classics Monthly.
PS. Looking back through earlier forum topics I can only agree that these cars should command higher prices than they currently do, particularly roadworthy examples. I have suggested in the article that prices can be expected to rise. I hope an increase in value will encourage more restorations and create greater awareness of 'lost' cars. Best wishes, GS. gstretton@highburyleisure.co.uk

Good to see an appreciative article on our mark in Classics monthly. Alan’s car looks almost metallic red?
I remember meeting Gary at a few of the shows and nice to see he has kept his interest in these cars.
I also met Matyn who wrote the article on Graham's car, another genuinely interested soul. He was quite frustrated that he couldn’t write more on the peerless.
Thanks both for the press!
Does Gary know he has his own personnel god like figure that follows him everywhere with an Ice cream in his hand?
Would Heineken please you all, or do I have to order another brand?
Maybe Stella for Frank Jones?
I have a small lawn for a few tents, and the rest can put their tents up at the slope of the dike, just bring along special dike-tent-pegs, obtainable in every comprehensive camping store.
