Just a quick note to say a big thank-you to all especially Jon and Nigel for making my (our ) first TR such an enjoyable event, inspite of the torrential conditions on Sunday. it was great to be a part of the first event to make 10 Peerlesses in the ring. Long may it continue.
Update on the racing. Definitely going to Lydden Hill ( Kent ) racing in the Classic and Historic event with the CTCRC. Not now going to Brands on the 13th as the entry fees are horrendous ( typical Brands ) and track time is reduced. Providing all is well we will be out at Donington Park also with CTCRC on Bank holiday Monday 29th August, don't know which one of us will be driving there yet. Then Sept. 10th or 11th at Snetterton, but we will update you nearer the time on that and beyond ! Lokking forward to seeing all our new and older friends soon. Hope you all got back and missed the rain. Onsite at around 6.30pm the heavens opened and we were flooded, the drains in the floor of the trader’s hall exploded and we had 12” high fountains.
The site was awash so good job no one stayed for the night.
