According to the "Instruction Book" the chassis number can also be "found on chassis down tube." Ok, where is the "down tube" and where on it is the chassis number? No. 145 came without a VIN plate and it would be nice to be able to confirm the no. on the title. Thanks.

Boot /Trunk Lock

The lock on the 1958 Peerless GT that we are working on is missing and there is only a hole where it should be. Was it a TR3 boot handle, a TR3 glove box door lock (or should that be a Cubby door)? or something completely different? Ron

Heater Blower

My car has a 6v Robbins and Myers heater blower. I am wonder if that is original since 6v might move twice(?) as fast and burn out as 12v. Is that original? What was original if not? Pictures would be welcome. Thanks.

My son and I are seriously looking at purchasing a Phase 1 Peerless GT. The body is presently perched on a TR6 chassis, while the original chassis comes seperately. The problem enters in transporting both of the units. We need to know how much of a trailer to take over 600 miles to pick the two units......
