Weatherstrip....
(Preview)
I have found an imperfect replacement for the original weatherstrips. I was about to throw the old, original away but thought I should post images of the originals. they are not fuzzy as I had originally thought and the rubber part is actually a Z shape,. -- Edited by maserich on Thursday 20th of June 20...

Look what the Easter bunny brought
(Preview)
An early Easter present and way better than a chocolate egg. Two new alloy fuel tanks, fitted with AN6 outlets, weld on ring for VDO dip senders to the inside AND foam filled. Don't know about the Easter bunny but I'm certainly happy.

More Easter bunny news
(Preview)
The little furry chap has been busy spending in Revingtons and has delivered me...... The first jolly update is steering box top plate RTR3075. This works really well. It replaces the peg with a sprung pin and removes most of the play due to wear around the straight ahead bit. The other update is geo...

Restoration of Chassis 86
(Preview)
Has anyone any idea of the bush size that fits around the bolt holding the front of the leaf spring to the chassis? The bolt and bush were rusted solid and had to be cut off when I stripped the car so I'll have to get new ones made up. I don't suppose they were a stock item.

Chassis 289 (200 XMF)
(Preview)
Hi everyone, just a quick note to let you know I've got this car, some of you may know it. It still has the V8 in it & runs but is a long way from road ready. I'm very busy so any king of restoration is going to be rather long winded but I'll try & update significant changes. Thanks, Bran.

Back at 92
(Preview)
It has been awhile but I'm back at my peerless. Got the brakes working...ish so now I'd like to get it running...ish. I had tried spinning it up to build oil pressure but no go, it had some very sludgy oil going on. my gut is telling me it was rebuilt at some point so I plan to take it apart, clean it and put it ba...

Chassis #56
(Preview)
I am new to the "Peerless GT - Owners Club", but have been a Triumph fan for a great many years. My quest for a Peerless GT actually started with a desire for a Triumph Italia, however while looking for an Italia (searching for rare Triumphs), I ran across the Peerless GT. What a very neat car and my sites...

Bulkhead anomaly???
(Preview)
OK, it's not really the bulkhead but I need to ask the question anyway. I'm at the stage of preparing new metal to go intothe bulkhead (firewall, in the USA), floor and footwell sides and have come across something that I think may be a bit unusual. In most photos of chassis that I've found online, the fo...

Peerless #92
(Preview)
At the risk of having my son angry with me, I thought I might update all of you a bit on #92. I emptied all of the bits from the ****pit this weekend, plus the rear seat shell, so that I could get to a more fine-tuned assessment of things. I discovered that someone, not so long ago, may have paid some attention...

New screens now fitted
(Preview)
Auto Windscreens fitted the first new front and rear heated screens to my Peerless this morning. They look superb. Crystal clear, laminated and excellent fit. The element wires are no thicker than a human hair, and very difficult to see without a white background and nosed pressed against the glass...

Update on No. 145
(Preview)
Not much has happened with 145 beside general cleaning and taking stock. I removed the battery and found that it is a Deka. These are made in Pennsylvania and sold in the NE US. The date stamp was Jan. 1971!!! So it is safe to assume that #145 has not been on the road since the mid-70s and once lived in the NE U...

Interior Light
(Preview)
I bought the Austrailian knockoff off the original Mini interior light to use in my car. So, on a left hand drive car where would the interior light go? Centered just above the passanger door opening screwed into one of the ribs? I guess it could also somehow mount to the metal plate to which the rea...

Update on #118
(Preview)
It's been a few weeks since I was able to do anything with car, and nothing since the few brief shake-down runs. The heavy leak from the gearbox appears to be from failing gaskets on the overdrive-gearbox connection. If looks like there's been some attempt to seal it up with some sort of goop/epoxy/...

Off with its head!
(Preview)
Finally getting stuck into the engine stripdown. Removed the cylinder head last night to find clean cylinder head faces. Head gasket marking says 86mm. Liners didn't budge but will come out anyway. Happy days sorry, nights. All the best, Gary

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone has any information regarding the 1959 Peerless GT Phase one, car 27. We have just obtained the car from America and wonder if anyone has owned or who has any information about the car... This is just for personal interest as we would like to know anything about the cars...
