Interesting pic just come up on the facebook site
(Preview)
No idea where this is but I'm guessing somewhere in the UK. Looks to be relatively recent given the houses in the background and the alloys on the car. Note the green car too.

Phase 2 serial numbers
(Preview)
Was comparing serial numbers of our Phase 2 GTs with Erik, and was wondering if anybody has the range - first to last car made? Any breakdown on LHD vs RHD? Just curious about where mine falls in the production line. It is 00264. As an odd aside, I also have a Phase 2 Rochdale Olympic. Similar story to...

1958 Le Mans memorabilia
(Preview)
Heads up Avids! It has been brought to my attention that there is a 1958 Le Mans program up for sale on a ell know auction site. I would very much like to buy this for our archive. This archive is a pretty informal arrangement at the moment and has been swept together over the years by keen members who have ei...

HELLO FROM WISCONSIN! Restoring a 1958 LH Drive Peerless GT
(Preview)
I set this account up to start interacting with Peerless people for my Grandfather, Richard Lichtfeld. He is the owner. HE also has the only 1916 Peerless Touring car left and has a 1917 as well. That is what prompted him to purchase this GT 20 years ago and now the time has come to start the restorati...

LED lights
(Preview)
Thought I would start this one off in the bar, couldn't find another thread on the forum on such matters. I've done a fare few miles lately and in some cases not the best of weathers. My neighbour has just fitted running lights to his old car as felt he was going "undetected these days" and it got me to think...

Polyurethane engine mounts

Following on from my last post on engine mounts which, in turn, led on to discussing under bonnet clearance, I've been in discussion with a company specialising in, you guessed it, custom made Polyurethane engine mounts. I can, apparently, get a set made up to any particular shore hardness (they've...

Importing cars to australia.
(Preview)
Sometime (not too soon) I am considering rehoming my Warwick with my son in Australia. Leaving aside the transportation and tax issues, which I can understand, there seem to be lots of potential traps in the type approval procedures for classic vehicles with weak documentation. The car is a UK road...
