Pictures of 359 CKJ?

Does anyone maybe have a picture of the Phase 1 I am currently restoring?

I bought the car when it was already partly disassembled, and in very bad condition.

I would love to have a picture of the car in its former glory, when it was still in one piece.

Maybe from a club day long ago?

My car has registration number 359 CKJ.

I would obviously pay for copy and postage costs.

Hopefully awaiting,

Erik

Hi
Dont know if you still have the car but my Dad used to own 359 CKJ. I was about 14 at the time (late 70's) and have good memories. In fact so good that I am now looking to buy one for restoration in order to do FIA Historic GT events with my son. I currently race an Historic Formula Junior Cooper, but am keen to do some long distance events.
I am not sure if Dad has any photos but could let you know more about the history. I would be grateful if you could let me know about any cars that might be for sale.
Regards
Simon

Dear Simon,

I just read your reply, many thanks for that.
Yes, i still have the car which i bought back in 1998 in a terrible condition.
It was just right for scrapping.

I started restoring it Christmas 2003 and continued until half 2006, when i started to rebuild my house.
In that time i built a new chassis and new steel floors.
The bodywork is back on the car, and needed lots and lots of repair.
Celia and Ian made me two new sills.
The car is now 60% ready.
I need to finish the body work, overhaul the engine and gearbox etc.
Still some years to go.
Restoration will resume sometime this year.

I am really very interested in any information about this car.
Hopefully you will find something for me.
If you have to make costs for copying or so, i am more than happy to compensate.
I would like to send you some pictures of the car in its present condition, and some of the restoration.
Please send me you email adress to erik.de.vries@REMOVEsolcon.nl
Please remove the word REMOVE before sending.

Is your father still alive?
I very much hope so, then you can show him the pictures.

Thanks again for getting in touch and i hope to hear from you soon.

Best regards,

Erik de Vries
