Anyone that can get a fit and finish like that on Peerless doors deserves respect. 225/60 16s would have uncle Frank reaching for his medication, and you'll need a weightlifters upper body strength to turn the wheel. There can't be much back seat left either, and a Peerless diff and driveshafts won't tolerate 200HP for long.
If the engineering is as good as the pictures suggest this is one lovely motor car. So it's not an "original" Peerless. So what!
The 4WD thing behind is a LineX concept car built for the 2016 Detroit car show.
I recall a car going through ebay maybe 2 years ago in the Toronto area that had no drive train and was gutted. This may be the car as its not far from Detroit?
I've seen this car with the engine transplant and the body was in matt and gloss black and still needed a load of tlc....and this must have been 5 years ago.
I have been contacted by a member of the register to say that he needs to sell his Peerless restoration project as he's running out of time and energy.
If anyone's interested please PM me and I will forward all Genuinely interested and sincere inquires
I might have an interested customer. They have seen mine and expressed an interest in owning one. Any further details you can let me have, boss? Condition, work to do and of course, asking price.
Thanks.
PS. Will be adding coolant and running my engine properly in the next few days. Fingers crossed I've got my wet liners properly sealed.
