Top notch, Frank. Congratulations on finishing it. Looks great.

What did you do with the gearbox in the end?

All the best, Gary

Gary:

Gearbox is now 4-synchro with J-type.

Some rework needed on g/box mount.  It would probably work unmodified if
you put the box in before the engine, but then the box won't come out
with the engine in situ, which isn't helpful.

Propshaft shortened half of an imperial inch.
(Belcher Engineering, Rickinghall, proper blokes, shed full of old fords,
2 fergies resting in the paddock)

How's your Peerless project going, will you make Lincoln?

Hello Frank,

well done for sorting it, sounds like a hornet's nest you escaped from quickly.

Just received the very expensive composite head gasket (£125) so I'm ready to put my bitsa engine all together now.

Any nonsense from it and I'm sticking an MX5 engine in with Fred Flintstone floors for Plan B.

No promises on Lincoln with my car but otherwise yes, I'd like to be there. Never been to Lincoln.

Happy synchromeshing in all six.

Gary
