Colin Ham's 8mm Race Footage now on Youtube

You would think that I am pretty far from the center of all things Warwick given my roots are here in Southern California, but it turns out that my neighbor Colin Ham, who's father was the Chairman of the Board for the Warwick company, found some 8mm film footage that he took following his dad around the race circuits in England.   Colin said he was between 18 and 20 years old at the time.

Here is the youtube link to the footage shot by Colin.   We did our best to transfer it to digital.  I paid a professional shop, then we re-shot it ourselves using a high end digital camera and professional editing software.  It came out better then the professional shop, but you can see that it is far from "HD".  Even in it's current format it is a blast to watch.

Based on Colin's recollection the are clips from Mallory Park, Snetterton, Rufforth and Branch Hatch.   After showing the clip to the real experts at the New Year Bash, we may have be able to add to the information.  Any help would be most appreciated.

This is what Colin recalled:

Warwick V8 1688MC (Snetterton - Driven by R. Ham, Colin's father)

Warwick TR 75RBH (Snetterton - driven by Bernie Rogers, Warwick Chief Engineer)

Warwick TR (Snetterton - Tunex car driven by Simon Hill,)

The Tunex engined Warwick 697UPA (Dual SUs as raced at Rufforth was then wrecked on a country road on the way home. Simon Hill R. Ham and Bernie Rogers examine the wreckage. Neither Simon or Bernie were driving)

There are also shots of the Tunex engine now in a new Warwick (at Brands hatch now with Twin Choke SUs)

Blue Warwick - 872 BLU (track side at Rufforth?) or Goodwood?

Shots of the factory and factory workers.

Those shots of the Tunex engine eventually ended up in Warwick 872 BLU.

I posted some of the stills at this link.  http://peerless-gt.activeboard.com/t61254717/new-year-bash/

Don't be shy about offering corrections!

Enjoy,

Dean

Hong Kong's medical services framework is separated into two choices: public medical services and private clinical consideration https://petertio.com/. On the off chance that you decide to pick the public medical services alternative, you needn't bother with private Hong Kong health care coverage. The public authority gives all open medical care benefits for nothing or for a little charge.
