Rear lights

For those interested, Holden now have Peerless rear lights back in stock at a slightly eye watering £230.00 plus VAT and carriage.

I've just bought 2 so needless to say, I'm feeling a little weak at the knees right now.

Is Lucas L548 the correct rear light?

Thanks,

Er, yes.  Sadly, these hardly ever show up at autojumbles
and when they do, they are at Aston Martin prices.

Like MRF says, you'll go weak at the knees at the price of new ones!

However, a determined bodger could buy the chrome trim and
lenses parts (which is the bit you can see), and fabricate the
backplate and bulb holders (which you can't see when
it's assembled).

Frank from Felixstowe.

these guys used to actually cast the chrome frames and I bought a pair back in the early 90's. Looks like they have been either bought out or revitalized by youth as when I went to collect it

was a scruffy little place with their collective arses hanging out of the their jeans!

don't be surprised if they wont sell to the public
