Hello all

Well I have a hankering for a project and a Peerless/Warwick would certainly be on the shortlist. As a youngster, I used to have a TVR3000m and regretted parting with it ever since cry. I recall visiting Oulton Park racetrack (local for me) in the TVR and saw a Peerless/Warwick for the first time, it was taking part in the race as I remember, it was Matt black and had the rover V8 fitted and the driver kindly enlightened me as to the cars identify.

Ideally, I would also like to use a V8 (apologies if this is sacrilege to the purists amongst you) but I would like it to sound as good as it looks! So if a car minus engine became available, that would may be better for my coincience :)

Due to the age of some of the postings, I would be interested to know if new bodyshells/chassis and screens are still obtainable and if so, at what cost

Kind Regards

Mark,  (North Wales)

You and me both man! These cars seem very hard to come by. So you will have to be on this website or bringatrailer.com if you ever expect to get one. I am currently also looking for the same mythical project car. Good luck to you!

Keep the faith! Keir (son) and I looked for over a year. Saw one every once in a while but usually in rougher shape than we wanted to tackle. Then eBay came through. A quick road trip from South Dakota to Florida and a Peerless was ours!!

Mark,
Dont know if this is in your price range but heres a blue one currently for sale in the UK.

And it looks like it is completed and running car. This may be a better deal if you want the car long term and then you can sort out your engine project down the road.

Thanks all, I appreciate this may be a waiting game and to be honest, that's suits me (the garage still needs a clear out) and a few more jobs on the house to complete. But if the right car for me shows up, IŽd be tempted.

Thanks also for the tip on the blue UK car, which I had seen, but to be honest, it would seem a shame to mess with something so well sorted. I think I would rather find a car in need of some tlc, and enjoy the journey of bringing it back to life and maybe pick up a few skills on the way smile. The hunt is just another part of the fun.!
