Chassis 99 has just appeared on ebay in Australia with an interesting story behind it. A Phase 1 with a Phase 2 front end. Hmm...

Err looks like a phase 1 front end to me. It's got the protruding headlights and Lucas rims but I think that was a conversion kit that was available in 1961/2 as my dad enquired about one at the time. I have a letter from Bernie Rodgers Developments with the price if my memory serves me correctly... Nige is this on our register already? The plate doesn't ring a bell.

Sorry, my mistake. Thrown by those protruding headlamp rims. I've tried to amend my first post, but the software doesn't save the changes.
