Muffler

Anyone have a picture of original muffler set up and/or specs and/or where to purchase one?  I assume it is oval and short enough to fit part way up between spare and right side wheel well?

standard long box from a TR3 just fits if you use the short box its unbearable!

This is what i have fitted - almost certainly not original but it fits (just) and works. There isn't room for anything under there really

I'm contemplating using a space-saver spare. This will then let me reshape the spare wheel well to get a second box down the other side, meaning smaller twin boxes might be possible.

I'll be speaking with some bespoke exhaust companies soon(ish).

That back end is crying out for twin pipes. Better than Nigel's side-exit flame-thrower option...biggrin

HEY!, I resemble that remark! if your springs are set right then the rear box isnt the issue clearance wise, its the pipe/pipes that pass under the main box section around the A post area
