"Barnfinder, The last Peerless"

I have just received #182, the car featured in Barnfinder last December.

It was put away in 1972 with the engine in pieces and is missing the boot badge, 2 lower tail light lenses, and most of the carpeting.

The windshield is cracked so I will need one.

Seats and headliner are very nice but quite dirty. The seats are pretty dry, but can be saved.

Any idea where to get the proper wind lace??

It looks like the engine compartment and frame were originally black, Can any of you confirm the original frame color?

My wish is to build the motor and refresh what needs refreshing and drive it with its 42 year old paint.

Hi

Windshields will be available shortly, join the queue.

Tail lights (and individual lenses) are available at a price!

Frame colour was black, but under bonnet might have been body colour.

And what's "wind lace"?

Thanks for the reply.
Perhaps wind lace is the wrong term.
I would like to replace the weather strip which is around the doors and back windows.

I use these guys, who will have what you need.

Shipping might be a problem because some of this
(like screen seals) can get pretty heavy.
