PEERLESS GT Chassis #206 $9,000 USD

This car has been sitting for well over 20 years in the Las Vegas/Northern Arizona area, so frame rust is not an issue, just neglect.

This car needs total restoration, but is complete. The bodywork has not suffered accident damage.

This PEERLESS had been raced extensively by the former owner, SCCA, Vintage Raced and Pro Solo.

-               It has the full roll bar, and a single period racing seat.

-               All of the glass is there in good condition.

-               Dash has complete original gauges, and steering wheel

-               The original number on the engine compartment is GT2-00206.

-               Triumph TR3 running gear with De Dion rear suspension.

-               4 speed with overdrive

-               Minilites

-               Front Disc Brakes

-               The engine (Triumph TR3B ) is in poor condition, missing the carburetors,

and needs rebuilding or replacing.

-               This car is currently located in the Pacific NW, and is available for viewing.

Interesting that the panel that the chassis plate is attached to looks to be aluminium.

Looks good in that colour and the dark wheels complement it. Interesting bonnet cooling 'hatch'. As Nigel says, alloy inner wing(s?). Non standard full width radiator.

Looks like a good project.

All the best,

Gary

Reportedly sold.   That was quick.  Hopefully he turns up here.

Turns out that I can help him if he needs a replacement panel for the nose or lower plate...
