That is looking good.

Does the Heater valve clear the bonnet ok, it looks like it is sitting quite high?

Good work Atle. Your car is coming together well.
Interesting to note the aluminium seal strip running vertically in page 15 on the hinge plate.
Incidentally, what exhaust box/system have you used?

I've recently finished bonding my Phase 1 body to its chassis using Sikaflex 252. I'm delighted with the results. SIkaflex is the modern way to construct bus and coaches. It's vibration absorbent and incredibly strong, which should help reduce stress cracks. Also for our cars, it takes out any imperfections between panel fit and chassis fit because it's applied as a 5-10mm bead. I'll email you the pics if you're interested.

Full feature in the next issue of Classics Monthly if anyone's interested. On sale 16th December.

All the best, Gary

Gary, I wold be most happy for any photos of your bonding job. I did e-mail our friend in Holland and asked him for the very same photos.... But I need as much info I can get about this issue.
The exhaust is SS from the days of restoration in UK.

Joe, the valve sitting high, but there is no clearance problem to the bonnet.
