Outside Door Handles

I am missing the drivers outside door handle on the #213. I see that it could be sourced from a Triumph Mayflower or Standard 8/10, neither of which is even remotely common in the states. I was thinking of placing an ad in Triumph World magazine, watching Ebay and Hemmings and calling wreckers.

Does anyone have a drivers outside door handle that they would part with?

What the heck is the inside door handle off of? I am missing one of those too.

My real question is: Has anyone successfully fitted a more common door handle, like maybe one off of an MGB or Midget? Perhaps it's heresy, but at least the door would close and parts would be available.

I read in the Wotsitoff that if you are missing the door handles you are probably SOL. Are there any wreckers in the UK that might have some of these? I am a rank amateur machinist and can fabricate some of the parts myself if need be.

Bill.
When I got my Warwick (#23) the handels on each side were different on the outside. I fitted
outside handels from a TR4 by filling in the door holes and redrilling. I was able to use the origional inside latches and B post latches. I have the two I took off but don't know if either
is like yours. Let me know if you are interested in them.

Hi Dean,

Nice to hear from a Peerless/Warwick enthusiast in the states. I'll email you a jpeg of the current door handle and see if either of yours match. If not, I might go the TR4 route if you were about to do it then it should work for me.

Can I have your email so I can send you a jpeg?
